Pihu Beauty Parlour is a vocational training initiative under Teertham Foundation, focused on empowering women.
This program provides skill-based courses in beauty, makeup, grooming, and personal care.
Women are trained by certified professionals to enhance their practical knowledge and hands-on expertise.
The aim is to encourage women to become financially independent and self-reliant.
Participants are guided to start their own beauty parlours or work in professional salons.
Regular workshops, demos, and updated trends are part of the training.
After completing the course, women are awarded a recognized certification.
This initiative helps them build confidence, dignity, and a sustainable livelihood.

The Nagina Lal Memorial Educational Welfare Society is a dedicated initiative focused on empowering economically disadvantaged women through professional skill development. By offering great tailoring and stitching (Silai-Kadai) courses, it aims to nurture their talents and build their confidence. Women receive hands-on training in cutting, stitching, embroidery, and garment creation under expert guidance.
To promote sustainablility, the society also provides sewing machines to all participants, enabling them to start learning skills that promotes the developement of learning. This initiative plays a vital role in fostering women’s independence, enhancing self-reliance, and providing them with the dignity of labour.
